Comments for I use vinegar in bottle with a spray top to touch up the stove top. It takes off the grease spots. What do you think of this or advise better. Thank you.

Using Vinegar on Stove Top NEW

Richard, I agree with your suggestion to add boiling water and a bit of DAWN dishwashing liquid
to the stove top because that is what I have done in the past when cooking a meal is particularly messy! (Cooking does not have to be messy if one properly uses lids and watches the boiling levels.)

However, the absolute best method for keeping your stove top really clean is to make sure it is cleaned right after cooking each meal. It only takes a minute. After placing all the dishes in the dishwasher, wrapping leftovers and placing them into the refrigerator, grab a damp sponge and clean that stove top. Follow up by drying with a terry cloth towel or micro cloth.
