Daily Cleaning Schedule

The Daily Cleaning Schedule, just what is it, and why do we need one.

The reality is that we have so much going on in our lives today, that keeping track of everything we need to do is almost impossible.

So we make a list, and that seems to make it much easier on us.

There is the house cleaning list, the repair and maintenance list. And a list for just about everything else you can think of. But we are here to talk about the Daily Cleaning Schedule.

So let’s get to it.

Daily Schedule

MAKE THE BEDS:  A Daily Cleaning Schedule Must.

whether you live alone or you have roommates, or you are a family, no one wants to get into bed at the end of a long day that hasn’t been made.

It just feels better, and of course the house looks good when all of the beds are made.

PICK UP THE CLUTTER:

it only takes a few moments of your time to walk into every room and pick up what doesn’t belong there and place it back where it does belong.

GO THROUGH THE MAIL:

throw out the junk mail, and put the bills into a separate container, so they are easy to get to when it’s time to pay them.

You’ll find that you won’t be rushed at the end of the month when you go to pay your bills.

I know many of us pay our bills on line today. That doesn’t mean you don’t have to keep up with everything else.

SPILLS:

if you spill something while cooking or eating, then wipe it up right away. And save the hassle of having to work at it to get it up later.

FLOORS:

Floors: check the kitchen floor and wipe it down if necessary.

SOAK THE DIS RAGS:

At the end of the day after you’ve cleaned up the kitchen, fill the sink with hot water and a splash of bleach and place your sponges and dish rags into the mixture.

In the morning ring them out and go over the counter tops with the rags.

By leaving them overnight in the sink, the mixture will disinfect them and remove the bacteria from them.

When you go to wipe the counters, it will help to remove the bacteria.

A BATHROOM:

remove any trash and clean the toilet. It doesn’t take but a minute to flush and go over the outside with a brush or warm micro cloth.

After you have made a copy of this Daily Cleaning Schedule, just tape it  on the backside of one of your cabinets.

That way it is always available to you.  Make a copy of the others when you have some time, and of course ask us a question at any time.
